IEA

Double Deuce Farm Equestrian Team

The Interscholastic Equestrian Association was formed and organized to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction available to middle and secondary school students. IEA now has over 10,000 members in 32 states across North America. The IEA supports two disciplines: Huntseat and Western. There is no need for any rider to own a horse because competition horses are provided at each venue to the contestant.

Double Deuce Farm has hosted an IEA team since 2007. Our mission is to promote Team Spirit, a positive attitude, and the growth of all our riders, while maintaining a fun environment for the passionate and enthusiastic equestrian. Even if you already have a horse, practicing and showing under this format will improve you riding skills tremendously!

Our teams have been very successful in many ways! We have placed consistently at regionals, zones, and Nationals. We have had National Champions/Reserve National Champions in both Huntseat & Western. Not only have the teams been successful in the show ring, they have developed confidence, put in a lot of hard work and dedication, built new relationships, conquered the unknown; all while having fun along the way!
