Jeannine is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Equine Production and Management. She incorporated Double Deuce Farm in 2004 and takes a hands-on approach overseeing the facilities day to day operations.
Jeannine has years of experience coaching riders, Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) teams, and judging shows. She has coached riders to championships at United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) rated shows; riders to winning year end awards in Ohio Professional Horsemen’s Association (OPHA) and Up & Over Hunter Jumper Association divisions. Her IEA teams have won Regional and Zone Championships; as well as, individual rider championships at IEA National Finals in both Hunt Seat and Western disciplines. She has judged hundreds of 4-H and open shows in 5 states and directed her 4-H judging team to Reserve Championship, Senior Division at state finals. Jeannine has been a member of the Up & Over Hunter Jumper Association Board of Directors, IEA Zone 5 Rules and Ethics Committee, and served as 4-H club advisor.
Jeannine takes pride in providing a friendly atmosphere at Double Deuce Farm and has made it a point to make the program at Double Deuce Farm a progressive program where riders have the opportunity to learn and move up through the ranks while developing life skills and knowledge. Personally, she enjoys teaching small children in their first lessons and watching then develop into confident and competent riders; as well as, teaching adults and more experienced riders at horse shows.
